Hankook confirmed as the official tire supplier for the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour 2025

- From April 2025, every competitor at Mount Panorama will be racing on Hankook Ventus R Spec Medium compound tires, specifically designed for local conditions

Seoul, Korea, September 10, 2024 — Global leading tire company Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) announced that Hankook Tire Australia has signed a multi-year agreement to once again serve as the official tire supplier for the 2025 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour.

With a legacy of over 20 years supporting Australian Motorsport and Production Car racing in particular, Hankook Tire Australia is thrilled to bring its expertise back to this iconic event. From April 18-20, 2025, every competitor at Mount Panorama will be racing on Hankook Ventus R Spec Medium compound tires, specifically designed for local conditions to ensure optimal performance.

This partnership marks a reunion, as Hankook was the official tire supplier for the inaugural Bathurst 6 Hour race in 2016, and for the first three years of its existence. Our current specification tire, developed in Australia, has a proven track record both at Mount Panorama and across national and state-level Production Car competitions.
