Haitang Bay Circuit

The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship returns to the lively coastal city of Sanya,  Hainan Island, for Round 12 of Season 12.  This marks the series’ first return to the city since Season 5 (2018/19),  symbolizing the long-standing partnership between Formula E and China.  Joining Shanghai on the Season 12 calendar, Sanya makes China the only country  to host two Formula E events in a single season.  This highlights the nation’s strategic importance and growing enthusiasm for electric racing,  supported by the Sanya government and trusted partner, Sanya Lian Xin.
