Home win for Lithuanian quartet at Aurum 1006km powered by Hankook

The 26th edition of the Aurum 1006km powered by Hankook took place from 17^th to 19^th July at the temporary street circuit in Palanga, on Lithuania’s Baltic coast. The endurance race is one of the best-known motorsport events in the Baltics and is held in high regard throughout the region. After 8 hours, 14 minutes and 53.201 seconds, the Audi quartet of Mindaugas Valiūnas, Mantas Matukaitis, Karolis Jovaiša and Egidijus Gražys celebrated a prestigious home win. The four compatriots relied on the optimum grip level of the Hankook tyres to complete a total of 373 laps on the 2.682-kilometre circuit. They were followed by British driver Benjamin Barker and Mantas Janavičius and Marius Bartkus (both Lithuania) in second place in a Porsche GT3 Cup. Adam Christodoulou from Great Britain and Daan Arrow from the Netherlands, in a Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, completed the podium. The spectators around the circuit were treated to a thrilling display of horsepower, supported by premium manufacturer Hankook.
